Explore a career with Prism Network Solutions, LLC. A startup IT solutions company providing Manage Services, consultant services and staffing. The Sales Representative is responsible for increasing sales revenue by prospecting for new clients and closing new business. The Highly-Motivated Outside Sales Professional will have access to numerous marketing campaigns and materials, but new sales will largely come from opportunities he or she will uncover through their own prospecting efforts and hopefully their own existing relationships. This is NOT an account management position where the candidate will perform ongoing upselling and nurture the client relationship over the contract term. This is a hunter position where they will track down new clients, move in for the kill, and move on to the next hunt.


  • Completes account planning that includes managing growth and retention activities for all clients within the assigned account base (including development of account profiles, account strategy and facilitating all required duties and tasks necessary to deliver a positive customer experience).

  • Passionate about selling and constantly motivated to learn new strategies and techniques

  • Experience selling to small and mid-market businesses

  • Experience selling to executive level prospects

  • Pipeline development through a combination of cold calling and market sector knowledge/intelligence. Adequate pipeline to ensure over-achievement within the designated territory.

  • Successful history of net direct new business sales, with the ability to prove consistent over-achievement over target

  • Strong competency in articulating the value proposition of the product/service and positioning strong proposals

  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate across all levels and effectively adapts to a variety of situations.

  • Creative with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt and succeed in a fast-paced environment

  • Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships

  • Experience selling anything technology or communications related is a plus

  • Has a network of contacts
